China Association for Medical Devices Industry (CAMDI) led nearly 30 Chinese enterprises to participate in and investigate annual MEDICA in Düsseldorf from November 11 to 18, 2023.
The fair attracted 5,372 exhibitors and 83,000 professional visitors from 70 countries, and co-located COMPAMED attracted 735 upstream component manufacturers to exhibit their products. It is noteworthy that a total of 1,458 Chinese exhibitors participated in MEDICA this year, surpassing Germany to become the country with the largest number of exhibitors. For many Chinese enterprises, offline fairs represent key platforms for industries to have idea collisions, promote product exchanges, enhance brand influence and facilitate unimpeded upstream and downstream channels in the industrial chain. Chinese enterprises’ participation with innovative products is not only good for enterprises to maintain a global vision and enhance brand influence and international competitiveness but also demonstrates to the world the cutting-edge technology and solid strength of Chinese medical enterprises.
During the investigation period, CAMDI also organized mutual exchanges and learning among the participating Chinese enterprises. After the exhibition and investigation, the participating Chinese enterprises highly affirmed the professionalism of CAMDI’s work and stated that the trip not only enabled them to understand the latest information on the international market but also promoted their exchanges with leading medical device enterprises, increased their business opportunities and achieved their expected exhibition and investigation results.
