The “Beijing Drug and Medical Device Innovation Service Station” (“Service Station”) was unveiled in the Zhongguancun Life Science Park, Changping District on April 3.
With promoting innovation development at the core and serving the R&D implementation of innovative products in the municipality as the mission, the Service Station will perform “five functions” as a government-enterprise liaison hub, communication and exchange platform, service and support base, training and guidance center and publicity and display window; the Service Station has “three platforms” in place: personnel training platform, custom consulting platform and resource sharing platform and implements “three priorities”: product inspection, production inspection and registration review; the Service Station will provide precise services to enterprises face to face, achieve pre-approval and services at the frontline, give priority to innovative products, maximize the benefits of the “two-zone” policy (Integrated National Demonstration Zone for Opening up the Services Sector and China (Beijing) Pilot Free Trade Zone), form a joint force for the high-quality development of the services sector and accelerate the R&D and market launch of innovative products.
