In order to implement the decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, ensure people’s access to high-quality, efficient, and affordable chipped tooth repair services, meet people’s desire for a better life, and promote the healthy and orderly development of the dental implantology industry, special rectification of dental implantology prices that fully covers public and private medical institutions will be launched according to the requirements of the Points of the Work to Correct Misconduct in the Area of Medicine Purchase and Sale and Medical Services in 2022 jointly issued by nine ministries and commissions. The related work requirements are hereby notified as follows:

I. Standardizing the ways of charging for dental implantology medical services and consumables

(I) Orderly advance the separation of pricing of service items and special consumables in dental implantology medical services.  

(II) Improve the implant tooth crown price formation mechanism.

(III)Standardize the integration of dental implantology price items.

II. Strengthening the price control of dental implantology and other medical services

(IV) Accomplish the price control of the whole dental implantology process.

(V) Strengthen policy guidance on the dental medical service prices of public medical institutions.

(VI) Strengthen dental implantology price regulation and guidance for private medical institutions.

III. Meticulously organizing the centralized procurement of dental implantology consumables

(VII) Set up interprovincial procurement alliances of dental implantology consumables.

(VIII) Extensively mobilize the participation of various medical institutions at all levels.

(IX) Truthfully and accurately complete and submit the implant demand quantity.

IV. Implementing the comprehensive governance of dental implantology charging

(X) Explore the establishment of a warning system for abnormal dental implantology prices.

(XI) Investigate and inspect dental implantology prices province by province.

(XII) Effectively perform medical price management responsibilities in the industry.
