At 1:00 pm on August 22, the Second Council of In Vitro Diagnosis (IVD) Branch of China Association for Medical Devices Industry (CAMDI) was held in the Primus Hotel Nanchang International Expo City as scheduled.
At the start, Mr. Zhu Yaoyi, Chairmen of IVD Branch, reported work on the Branch. Since its establishment in November 2015, the branch has been actively developing members. Currently, the Branch has recruited 151 members and 36 council members. In addition, the Branch has also been setting up functional groups to participate in industry questionnaire survey and annual report preparation, host and co-organize the industry meetings and events, and speak on behalf of members in events.
Ms. Chen Jun, Moderator of the Congress and Secretary General of IVD Branch, reported the income and expenses of the Branch. Then representatives spokespersons of five companies including Fosun Long March, Mindray, Tellgen, BSBE and URIT shared the work plans for different functional groups including member activity group, policy and regulation group, medical insurance charging group, tender and purchase group, and industry-university-research group in 2020.
Mr. Yang Yongfeng, on behalf of the chair institution on duty, Autobio, reported the preparations for "the 12th IVD China Summit" and elaborated national policies, industry development and other relevant issues.
Chairmen Zhu Yaoyi interpreted the 2019 Annual Report on IVD Industry in policies and environment, current situations and development, opportunities and challenges, opinions and suggestions in detail.
Finally, Mr. Lin Senyong, Director of Medical Device Supervision Department of Shanghai Municipal Food And Drug Administration, was invited to analyze the future development trend of China's medical device industry in the context of the great health era, with the title of "The Development of Medical Device Industry in the Post-Epidemic Era".
After the speeches of spokespersons, Secretary General Chen Jun presided over the awarding of the certificates of the second council members and attendees took a group photo outside the venue. At this point, the First Member Congress of the Second Council of CAMDI IVD Branch ended successfully!
