In order to further standardize the common name of medical devices, and guide the compilation of the guiding principles for the naming of medical devices in various professional fields, we, the National Medical Products Administration, have organized and formulated the Guiding Principles for the Naming of Common Name of Medical Devices, which is hereby promulgated.
