On October 16, 2019, Mr. Zukepli, Minister of Investment Office of the Embassy of Malaysia in China and Director of Beijing Office of Malaysian Investment Development Authority, Mr. Charles Cao (V.), investment officer of Investment Office of the Embassy of Malaysia in China and Beijing Office of Malaysian Investment Development Authority, and Marketing Director Ms. Lynn Yusof and Marketing & Sales Manager Ms. Esther Kuan of UMW Development Pte. Ltd. visited China Association for Medical Devices Industry (CAMDI). Deputy Secretary General Zhang Lin and staff from International Cooperation Department of CAMDI attended the meeting and welcomed the delegation of the Embassy of Malaysia in China.
At the meeting, Zukepli, Minister of Investment Office of the Embassy of Malaysia in China, introduced the functions of Malaysian Investment Development Authority and the recent development of Malaysian medical industry. Ms. Lynn Yusof from Malaysian UMW Group introduced the development history of the Group and the situation of UMW’s high value-added manufacturing industrial park. Then, Zhang Lin, Deputy Secretary General of CAMDI, introduced the main work and functions of CAMDI as well as the development status of China's medical device industry.
