On July 13, 2019, the manuscript meeting of Report of Innovation of China Medical Device Technology 2019 organized by China National Center for Biotechnology (hereinafter referred to as “Biotechnology Center”) was held in Beijing. The meeting was sponsored by the Clinical Trial Branch of China Association for Medical Devices Industry. The heads and experts from Jiangsu Province Hospital, Suzhou Institute of Biomedical Engineering, CAS, Beijing Institute of Medical Device Testing, Beijing Hospital, 301 Hospital, Beijing Food and Drug Administration, Liaoning Provincial People's Hospital, PKU Weiming Group, Beiyan Xinchuang and other entities attended this meeting together with staff from office of chemical drugs and medical devices of Biotechnology Center.
During the meeting, the person in charge of relevant department of the Biotechnology Center emphasized the strategic importance of the report, and representatives from 11 leading entities reported the stage writing work of each project team, covering industry policy, diagnostic reagent, treatment device, AI, surgical robot, health management device, medical image, biological material, and panvascular medicine. The attending experts deeply discussed the technology innovation trend at home and abroad, future technology and core industry technology, and provided some constructive suggestions about subsequent work for the project team.
