A delegation led by Dr. Jiang Feng, the standing vice-chairman Jiang Feng of China Association for Medical Devices Industry (CAMDI), were invited to visit Huawei’s headquarter in Shenzhen. Representative of Huawei introduced their current exploration and progress in the field of medical and health care. Mr. Jiang made a brief introduction to Huawei regarding the current situation and future development trend of China's medical device industry, as well as the resources and service capabilities of CAMDI and China Strategic Innovation Alliance of Medical Device Technology. In combination of overall industrial layout and technological basis characteristics of Huawei, both parties carried out in-depth exchanges and discussions on Huawei’s key direction and strategic planning for its entry into the sector of medical devices, and reached several agreements on future cooperation. Huawei will be deeply involved in various activities of China Medical Devices Design & Entrepreneurship Competition and Global Device Week (GDW). As the leading key enterprise, Huawei will hold professional events to provide cooperation opportunities for medical device companies together with China Strategic Innovation Alliance of Medical Device Technology, with a view to connect Huawei's high-quality resources with medical device innovation projects and enterprises, and speed up Huawei's development in the field of medical devices. In addition, Mr. Jiang conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions with the technical cadres of Health Business Department in Huawei on some technical issues related to international cutting-edge and major products.
