The acceptance meeting on Development of Advanced Key Technologies and Innovative Products of Medical Devices including New Modal Imaging in the National Science & Technology Pillar Program during the Twelfth Five-year Plan Period was held in Beijing
China National Center for Biotechnology Development together with Department of Science and Technology for Social Development organized the acceptance meeting on “Development of Advanced Key Technologies and Innovative Products of Medical Devices including New Modal Imaging” (Project No.: 2015BAI01B00) in the National Science & Technology Pillar Program during the Twelfth Five-year Plan Period on June 27, 2019.
The project group reported the important progress and results achieved since its implementation. The expert panel of acceptance believed that, this project performed R&D on 30 advanced innovative products of medical devices including new modal imaging, obtained 10 medical device registration certificates, and 9 certificates under approval. Significant breakthroughs have been made in key technologies such as heavy ion intensity-modulated radiation therapy, medical THz wave detection, superconducting quantum interference magnetocardiography, and optical spectrum detection with medical endoscope, HD single-photon imaging of pathological tissue and body sensor network. The panel, therefore, suggests that the project pass the acceptance.

The project group reported the important progress and results achieved since its implementation. The expert panel believed that, this project performed R&D on 14 kinds of key basic medical equipment including respiratory anesthesia, and obtained 21 medical device registration certificates in anesthesia system, RF tumor ablation system and full-automatic dry biochemical analyzer. Breakthroughs have been made in core technologies such as microfluidics-based dry biochemistry. The panel, therefore, suggests that the project pass the acceptance.
