On the afternoon of June 20, the inauguration ceremony of the POCT Branch of China Association for Medical Devices Industry (CAMDI) officially kicked off in Hangzhou. In which, the component members of the First Committee of POCT Branch of CAMDI were elected, including chairman, vice chairmen, deputy secretary-generals, standing committee members, and members of academic committee.

Specifically, the name list of such component members are as follows: chairman: Kang Xixiong; vice chairman: Zhang Guojun, Zhou Xiangyang, Deng Fang, Chen Yu, Zheng Lei, etc.; deputy secretary-general: Lin Changqing (concurrent), Yang Jianlong, Tong Jinsong, Chen Tao, Liu GuangZhong, etc.; standing committee member: Zhou Lei, Ding Hongbin, Lou Jinli, Tan Aiguo, Wang Gaixian, etc.; member of academic committee: Cheng Jing, Ge Junbo, Yang Ruifu, Jiang Feng, Wang Chengbin, etc. China demonstration bases for hospital management of POCT include the First Bethune Hospital of Jilin University, Beijing Tiantan Hospital, Capital Medical University, Huashan Hospital, Fudan University, and the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine.

Professor Kang, reputed laboratory medicine expert and former director of the Laboratory Diagnosis Center under Beijing Tiantan Hospital, Capital Medical University, was elected as the director of the First Committee of POCT Branch of CAMDI. Zhang Guojun and other experts (37 members in total) were elected as the vice chairmen, Lin Changqing and other specialists (11 members in total) were elected as the deputy secretary-generals, Zhou Lei and other professionals (130 members in total) were elected as the standing committee members. Xu Shan, secretary-general of CAMDI, issued the letter of appointment to Professor Kang. Mr. Kang and Ms. Xu issued letters of appointment to the vice chairmen, deputy secretary-generals and others.

As a secondary institution of CAMDI, the POCT Branch of CAMDI mainly focuses on industrialization and devotes to leading the industrial development by centering on the development of POCT industry. It will strictly comply with the state laws and regulations as well as the rules and regulations of CAMDI. The POCT Branch of CAMDI endeavors to carry out relevant service activities for government, member enterprises, medical institutions and other industry entities, in a bid to promote the healthy development of POCT industry in China.
