On November 16, 2018, the Laboratory Testing Division of Wuxi AppTec opened a new medical device testing center in Suzhou, Jiangsu province of China. This marks the full implementation of WuXi AppTec's medical device testing capabilities in the Chinese market. In conjunction with its existing United States-based medical device testing centers, the new center will help form a globally integrated medical device testing platform. WuXi AppTec will focus its efforts on providing one-stop services from R&D, testing to production and market launch. In addition, it will step up the effort to import international medical devices into China and encourage China’s medical device enterprises to go global by establishing a international exchange channel, as a method to promote global health industry.
