In November 2018, Investigatory Visit to Medical Innovation Program of Switzerland organized by the China Association for Medical Devices Industry (CAMDI) attracted more than ten companies from both China and Switzerland.
At the beginning of the two-day event, representatives from both sides introduced the development of medical industry in both China and Switzerland, opening the door for subsequent exchanges.
During communication and exhibition, representatives of Switzerland fully displayed advanced achievements they have scored in the medical field, especially achievements regarding innovative products, technologies and clinical applications, including scores of refreshing highlights. Chinese representatives also exhibited strong interests in projects in their respective fields of interest. Representatives of both countries demonstrated a strong intention for cooperation in an active free discussion following the investigation.
After the visit in Switzerland, the investigation group went to Germany immediately to attend the annual MEDICA in Dusseldorf. In this MEDICA, exhibitors organized by CAMDI had an exhibition area of more than 100 square meters. Such exhibitors displayed products that come with leading expertise and technical content in China's domestic market.
Following the investigation, all participating enterprises stated that, in addition to gaining an insight into the international market, as has been expected, they have achieve better communication with leading medical device companies.
