The Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) will be in charge of the preparation and organization of the National Technical Committee on Science and Technology Evaluation of Standardization Administration of China, and the secretariat of this Committee will be set up in the National Center for Science & Technology Evaluation, according to the requirements of the Reply of General Office of the Standardization Administration of China on the Preparation of the National Technical Committee on Science and Technology Evaluation of Standardization Administration of China (BWBZHH (2018) No. 82). To ensure the openness, fairness and impartiality of the preparation plan, the solicitation of the members of the first Technical Committee is officially launched nationwide in accordance with the principle of extensive involvement of related parties.
Specific requirements are as follows:
I. Range of solicitation
The National Technical Committee on Science and Technology Evaluation of Standardization Administration of China (herein after referred to as the Committee) is mainly responsible for the formulation and revision of national standards in the fields including the evaluation of science and technology (S&T) policies, S&T programs, S&T projects, S&T projects achievements, regional S&T innovation, S&T institutions and bases, S&T talents, S&T funds, S&T performance and impact. Now the Committee is recruiting members from S&T evaluation agencies, related standardization organizations, universities, research institutes, enterprises, government departments and other relevant institutions across the country.
II. Requirements for the committee member
1. Engage in the work including S&T innovation, evaluation, management and standardization, acquainted with the business in the field of S&T evaluation, and master higher theoretical level, solid professional knowledge and substantial practical experience.
2. Hold one intermediate professional title (or above), or have a job title corresponding to the former.
3. Hold a post in a lawfully established legal entity within the territory of china, and is recommended by the employer with agreement.
4. Familiar with and enthusiastic about standardization work, comply with the regulations of the Committee, actively take part in all the activities organized by the Committee, and conscientiously fulfill the duties and obligations of the Committee members.
5. Meet other requirements of the Measures for the Administration of the China National Standardization Technical Committee.
