Following the symposia on market competition of medical device industry held in Beijing by the Antimonopoly and Anti-unfair Competition Enforcement Bureau of State Administration for Industry & Commerce (SAIC) of the People’s Republic of China, Renmin University of China and the China Association for Medical Devices Industry (CAMDI) on January 2017, the research team held another seminar for the primary achievement exchange to discuss the market competition of medical device industry on June 29. The CAMDI attended the meeting on invitation with many domestic and foreign-funded leading medical device enterprises.

At the beginning of the meeting, the research team detailed the highlights in the stage report to the participants and invited them to review jointly. Then, the participants put forwards some suggestions on the medical device industry characteristics and market operation mechanism summarized in the report. After listening to the representatives of the industry, Prof. Meng Yanbei and other professors from Renmin University of China Law School verified the research focus from the representatives and got a detailed response.
