On May 16, 2017, the 7th Industry Summit Forum of Xi’an Jiaotong University Biomedical Engineering Alumni Association themed “Entrepreneurship and Innovation”, co-sponsored by the College of Life Science & Technology, XJTU and Reed Sinopharm, undertaken by CAMDI and Jiang Dazong Fund was held in Shanghai National Exhibition and Convention Center. The forum was presided by alumnus Guan Li, the president of Shanghai Branch of Xi’an Jiaotong University Biomedical Engineering Alumni Association (XJTUBMEAA) and Greater China VP of PENTAX Medical.

Prof. Wang Jue, the director of Institute of Biomedical Engineering of College of Life Science & Technology, XJTU and the director of Rehabilitation Science and Technology Research Center, on behalf of the college, made a speech.

Entrusted by Prof. Lv Yi, the assistant to the president of XJTU, Prof. Wu Rongqian, deputy director of the Institute of Advanced Surgical Technology and Engineering, XJTU made a keynote speech on “Interaction and Integration of Medical and Engineering Technology”.

Alumnus Wang Lifei, general manager of Tiger Jietong Testing Technology Co., Ltd. made a keynote speech on “medical devices incubation accelerator--wing the innovative products of medical device”.

For the establishment of “Entrepreneurship and Innovation”, 4 entrepreneur teams were invited to share their entrepreneurship in the forum, including Dr. Deng Bin and physician Wang Lei, founders of Yi Xin Dental, Cui Yan, responsible person of Tianma Information Science and Technology Ltd. in Xixian New Area, Zhang Bei, a teacher from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and Huang Changjian, a postgraduate from College of Life Science & Technology, XJTU.

For startup program display, a link of guest comment was included in the forum. The comment guests included Tan Qing, CDBI fund management partner, Liu Mingyu, investment director of Lepu Medical & combined capital partner, Weng Liangjun, general manager of international department of Shenzhen Beacon Display Technology Co., Ltd., Dang Yingjian, founder of Dalian Clinicgene Tech.
