To accommodate the China infection and control industry development, improve the technology innovation of the infection and control industry and to facilitate the infection and control industry development in China, the “2017 Summit Forum for Infection and Control Technology Industrial Development & the 1st Meeting of Fifth Council of CAMDI Infection and Control Technology Committee” was held in Shanghai National Exhibition and Convention Center on May 15, 2017, as co-sponsored by China Association for Medical Devices Industry (CAMDI) Infection and Control Technology Committee and Reed Sinopharm Exhibitions Co. Ltd. and undertaken by China Medical Device Information Periodical Office.
The hospital infection administrators from famous hospitals, control-infection and disinfection management experts and guest speakers from representative enterprises were invited to attend the meeting and made keynote speeches. The focus of infection-control management and its industrial development was discussed from multiple perspectives and levels to facilitate the exchange among industry, university, research and hospital, share the advanced infection-control experience and drive the development of infection and control technology in China.
At the beginning of the forum, Dr. Fan Xiaodong, vice-chairman of CAMDI and director of China Medical Device Information Periodical Office presented in the meeting and made passionate opening address.
In the forum, Prof. Han Hui, head of the infection management office of Qilu Hospital of Shandong University & director of Quality Management Office, made a great speech titled “Doctor-guided accurate infection control -- thinking on hospital infection outbreak”;
