CAMDI Attending Norway China Business Summit 2017

On April, 7, “Norway China Business Summit 2017” was jointly held by Royal Norwegian Embassy, All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC), Innovation Norway and China Enterprise Confederation (CEC) in Beijing. More than 900 businessmen of China and Norway attended the summit and had deep conversations under the theme of “innovation sustainable solutions for a better future”. Erna Solberg MP, Prime Minister of Norway and Wang Qinmin, vice chairman of the (Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference) CPPCC and chairman of ACFIC addressed the conference respectively.




Erna Solberg said at the summit, “China is the biggest trade partner of Norway in Asia. I’m glad we have normal political and diplomatic intercourse with China, this brings great business and employment opportunities for Norway. We expect to resume our FTA negotiations with China.”


Traaseth, director of Innovation Norway presided over the summit conference. Maland, minister of Norwegian Ministry of Trade, Jack Ma (Ma Yun), executive chairman of Alibaba Group and Zhu Hongren, president of the CEC, addressed the conference respectively. At the conference, representatives of the enterprises from both China and Norway signed 13 cooperation agreements on seafood imports, shipbuilding, education and energy. Xu Shan, secretary general of the CAMDI, along with members and enterprise representatives were invited to attend this summit.
