On April 1, 2017, the “2017 Vascular Innovation Symposium” was held successfully in Beijing, jointly organized by the Vascular Devices Branch of China Association for Medical Devices Industry (CAMDI) and the Vascular Medicine Committee of Chinese Research Hospital Association (CRHA), undertaken by the Department of Vascular Surgery of Chinese PLA General Hospital and supported by the Medical Data Analysis Committee of CAMDI and China Cardiovascular Devices Industry & Investment CEO Conference.
Professor Guo Wei, Director of the Vascular Surgery Center, Chinese PLA General Hospital and the Executive Chairman of the Symposium, presided over the opening ceremony. Yu Qilin, director of Department of Surgery, Chinese PLA General Hospital, Xu Shan, secretary-general of CAMDI, Liu Xihua, vice chairman of Chinese Research Hospital Association, Wang Xuqi, honorary chairman of the Department of Vascular Surgery, Surgery Branch of Chinese Medical Association (CMA), Wang Shenming, leader of the Vascular Surgery Team, Surgery Branch of CMA and the former president of The First Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yant-sen University and Chen Zhong, chairman of the Department of Vascular Surgery of Surgery Branch under CMA, delivered the opening speech.
The conference, with the theme of “innovation”, centered on the mechanism of innovation, interpretation of policies and regulations, confirmation of medical researches, new horizons for vascular devices and hot issues of investment. Nearly 30 specialties delivered great keynote speeches. During the conference, there were two venues provided for an innovation roadshow and a multi-party conference with Israeli enterprises.
Representatives from the government, hospitals, research institutes, pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers and financing institutions attended this conference.
