The Annual Meeting of the In Vitro Diagnostics Branch of China Association for Medical Devices Industry was held in Qingdao.

The Annual General Meeting 2017 of In Vitro Diagnostics Branch of China Association for Medical Devices Industry was held grandly at the International Convention Center, Qingdao City, Shandong Province on March 12, 2017.


The Meeting was presided by Xu Shan, the Secretary-general of the In Vitro Diagnostics Branch, at which Zhu Yaoyi, the Chairman of the In Vitro Diagnostics Branch gave an account of the work the Branch done in 2016 and the work plan for 2017 to the attendees. According to the agenda, Zou Zuojun, the Vice Chairman of In Vitro Diagnostics Branch gave a detailed account of the preparation made for the Ninth Summit Forum for In Vitro Diagnostics to be held during the CMEF exposition (autumn). Mr Zhu also interpreted deeply the Annual Report of China In Vitro Diagnostics Industry 2016 compiled jointly by the In Vitro Diagnostics Branch and the Medical Test Branch of National Association of Health Industry and Enterprise Management, and answered the questions from the attendees. At last, the functional groups gave account their work plans for 2017 respectively, and established the Wechat work groups at the meetings, covering laws, regulations and policies, bidding and procurement, medical insurance charging and cooperation of the medicine enterprises, medicine universities and medicine institutes.


The Meeting also attracted attentions of many factories, and more than ten non-membership organizations requested to sit on the Meeting and consulted the procedures for joining the In Vitro Diagnostics Branch. And some organizations even requested to join the Association at the Meeting, which was undoubtedly a positive signal for the In Vitro Diagnostics Branch. We sincerely hope more in vitro diagnostics products and service providers will join the In Vitro Diagnostics Branch to participate in helping the enterprises and working out possible solutions for them so as to contribute to the development of the in vitro diagnostics industry in China.
