On November 6-7, 2016, the Sixth International Bid Specialists Training Course was jointly held at Beidaihe by CAMDI and International Tendering and Bidding Procurement Website. This training course was designed for specialists engaged in foreign trade of medical devices.

The UN bidding procurement is a kind of simplified international government procurement, which lays a foundation for enterprises to develop the market of international government tendering and bidding procurement without any cost. The UN procurement of approximately $ 20 billion USD every year is also of strategic importance to every enterprise. During the training, trainees earnestly learned the procedures and rules of the UN procurement bidding, fiercely discussed the details with respect to the UN procurement bidding documents, participated in and finished bidding simulation operation in a harmonious and active atmosphere. Lu Tong, a senior specialist, was invited by sponsors to analyze commercial, technical and general clauses in the UN procurement bidding documents for trainees. Xu Xiaobei was invited to provide an on-site guidance for trainees in making bidding documents and a deeper insight into the detailed regulations in the bidding documents.

Through the two-day bidding operational training, most trainees had a more clear understanding of the details of the bidding documents. Trainees had a general overview of the UN bidding procurement market and became capable of making bidding documents independently. In the end, Hou Feng, the director of International Tendering and Bidding Procurement Website, commented on this training and said that he would continue to pay attention and guide the trainees through subsequent practical operations of bidding methods, hoping more talents in foreign trade of related enterprises are involved in it.
