Following the strategic cooperation with Mindray Medical International Limited in May 2016, Shanghai United Imaging Healthcare developed a new strategic cooperation relation with Glory Medical Co., Ltd., an A-share listed machinery enterprise to realize new win-win co-operation and increase its comprehensive strength. The medical imaging device market in China will experience another big change!

On July 26, Glory Medical Co., Ltd. (Glory, stock code: 002551) announced that it received the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement Between Glory Medical Co., Ltd. and Shanghai United Imaging Healthcare (Agreement).

In accordance with the Agreement, both parties hereof will establish a 4-year (to June 30, 2020) strategic cooperation relationship, and the Agreement may be renewed one month prior to the expiry through written consent of both parties hereof. The products involved in the cooperation between United Imaging and Glory include but not limited to Magnetic Resonance (MR), Computerized Tomography (CT), molecular imaging (MI), X Ray (XR). Glory can enjoy the VIP price offered by United Imaging, subject to negotiation between both parties hereof and promote the products of United Imaging in its funded hospital projects. Both parties will co-invest in the construction of regional imaging diagnosis center by full use of their channel resources. The announcement of Glory showed some clues. ——Glory has rich hospital resources. Glory Medical is now the greatest medical device enterprise based on hospital construction in China. Since 2016, the total investment amount of new orders and agreement announced by the company has been over CNY 5 billion. With the popularity of the PPP-mode medical reform, the company will have a great number of orders. It is predictable that the market share and status of United Imaging in the medical imaging device market in China will be expanded and enhanced upon the cooperation with Glory.
