On July 6, 2016, the Second Meeting of First Council of Medical Device Packaging Committee of China Association for Medical Devices Industry was held successfully at Guangzhou. Over 50 representatives from more than 30 enterprises in medical device packaging industry in China attended the meeting, completing the decision process of the Committee for matters of importance in the later half of 2016 and discussing the future plan and development.

In the meeting, Mr. Wang Dawei, manager of DuPont (China) Research & Development and Management Co., Ltd. (the president unit) at greater China region made an opening address, introducing the theme of “one center, two basic points and four fundamental principles”, namely, sterile medical device manufacturer and users as the center, vigorous promotion of technical progress of the sterile medical device packaging manufacturers and positive cooperation with the regulatory department on industrial management and guidance as two basic points, adherence to promotion of industrial compliance development, industrial technological innovation, industrial service platform and industrial talent cultivation as four fundamental principles.      

And then the Frame for Training of Sterile Medical Device Packaging, drafted by Wu Chunming, manager of Sealed Air (China) Co., Ltd. was introduced, laying a good foundation for future training of the Committee. The Frame covers regulations and standards, packing materials, packing design, process validation, aging test, transport test, sterilization process and other aspects of medical device packaging.

During September 21~23, 2016, the Membership Meeting of Medical Device Packaging Committee of China Association for Medical Devices Industry will be held at Tuoren Group! The presence of more colleagues and medical device manufacturers will be appreciated! Dating at Changyuan for joint development!
