Asia Pacific Medical Technology Association Delegation Visits CAMDI

On June 21, 2016, a delegation led by Fredrik Nyberg, CEO of Asia Pacific Medical Technology Association (APAC MED) visited CAMDI, Dr. Jiang Feng, managing vice chairman and Xu Shan, deputy secretary general of CAMDI attended the meeting.

During the meeting, Dr. Jiang Feng gave a brief introduction to development status of Chinese medical devices industry and the main functions of CAMDI. Fredrik Nyberg highly praised the contribution of CAMDI to the development of medical device industry and expressed his high expectation to have further cooperation with CADMI. In-depth exchanges and discussions were made in terms of the issues of medical device industry development in Asian-Pacific region and China as well as the prospect for cooperation.

Founded in 2015, APAC MED strives to promote popularization of medical service by impacting policy making; representative members make speeches on environmental change regulation, ethic and compliance change and encourage industrial innovation and talent introduction; and they will try to promote the sustainable development of medical products and services, satisfying the local medical demands. The members of APAC MED include but not limited to: Abbott, GE Healthcare, Johnson & Johnson, Medtronic, Philips, Siemens and Stryker.
