On May 19, it is learned from Hefei Institute of Physical Sciences of CAS that the Science Center of High Magnetic Field under the Institute has made breakthrough progress in precise diagnosis and treatment of malignant tumors by combining high-throughput genome sequencing and high-throughput chemosensitivity assay system. Clinical trials indicate that the precision therapy proposed by the system provides a possibility of overcoming the low specificity and significant side effects of conventional therapies and improving therapeutic effect of malignant tumors and patients’ life quality.
