DC2017 Opens in Suzhou — watch the innovation progress of China's medical devices under the new healthcare reform and new regulatory policy

In recent years, new regulations, guidelines, and industry standards for medical devices have been introduced. We can see that the content and method of the supervision on medical devices are changing and improving at the national level. With the promotion of the overall healthcare reform in China, the diagnosis and treatment technology of medical devices, as a crucial part of the healthcare industry, is facing new opportunities and challenges. From September 1 to 3, 2017, the seventh China Medical Devices Summit Forum (DeviceChina 2017) was held by BioBAY jointly with the China Association for Medical Devices Industry. The forum was opened beside the Dushu Lake, and it introduced the innovation progress of China's medical devices under the new healthcare reform and new regulatory policies.

The high-end medical device is not only regarded as a development target of the emerging industry, but also as the major breakthrough field. The summit continuously focused on the ecological development of China’s medical device industry and the latest changes of industry policies. Moreover, the participants also had an in-depth discussion on emerging medical materials, the interventional therapy of heart diseases and its extension & expansion and the precision medicine. Another important topic at the conference is, how to steadily promote the innovative development of China’s medical devices under new policies of the new healthcare reform. In the pre-forum meeting on September 1, the participants also had a heated round-table discussion on hot issues, such as The Cross Border Innovation and Investment Transactions of the Medical Technology and The Application of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data in the Medical Field.
